Yes. This is an open meeting, which means anyone may attend — family, friends, students, professionals, and anyone curious about A.A. You are welcome to listen, and you are never required to speak.
Nothing. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership. A basket is passed for voluntary contributions toward rent and coffee; nobody is expected to give anything, and no one will notice if you do not.
People sit down together and talk about staying sober. Someone usually reads from our literature, then members share their own experience. You are welcome to say nothing at all — listening is enough. Meetings last about an hour. Most members use first names only, and what is said in the room stays there.
See every Wednesday meeting, or the whole week.
